CONVERGE - AXE TO FALL

Latest Converge LP, which kids went nuts for. I must be old as I can remember the time when you could pre-order the new converge LP and would get the rarest press without having to do it within 15 minutes of it being announced. I did that for Jane Doe and luckily didn't have to pay $150+ for a copy on clear. Anyway I was too late for the Axe To Fall pre-order and missed out on the clear with shards, which is a shame as I have every other Converge release on the most limited pressing. Luminance is one of the best non-LP tracks ever and the cover of the Failure track Magnified is also spot on. I have this on black but had to pick it up on pink.

BARONESS - BLUE

This is visually a stunning release. Unfortunately it almost seems more time was spent on the packaging than the content. Don't get me wrong, there are some great songs on here but it almost seems as if filler outweighs the actual content. Both full lengths have shown that Baroness is a band capable of writing 6 great songs and padding it out into a full length, which is a shame but that's how they do it I guess.

This is the 3 x LP version, featuring a live set on the 3rd LP.

In These Black Days Volume 6 - Soilent Green / Neurosis

I picked this up years ago on black but having 4/6 of this series on colour decided that I needed to pick up the other two. This is on Brown / 220. While not my favourite of the series it is still a great release. Only one to go now, the Converge / Brutal Truth 7"...
